The tomatoes in the greenhouses were growing vigorously and laden with fruits. Villagers were busy picking, transporting, sorting and packing them. Tang Guanfeng, the manager of the industrial park, told the reporter that the park adopts intelligent greenhouse cultivation. The greenhouses are equipped with intelligent devices such as integrated water and fertilizer irrigation systems, digital temperature and humidity control systems, and automatic ventilation systems. The tomatoes grown here have high yields and good quality, and are well-received in the market. At present, about 40,000 jin are picked and sent to the Shanghai market every day.

Tang Guanfeng, the manager of the modern Facility Vegetable Guangdong-Guangxi Industrial Park in Gaolu Village, Gucheng Town, said, "The total annual output is 4,600 tons. We grow two crops a year, with each crop weighing 2,300 tons." We mainly sell to some high-end markets in Shanghai, such as supermarkets and the like. Our annual output value is close to 20 million yuan.

The industrial park operates under the model of "park + base + farmers", connecting, benefiting and enriching farmers. While increasing the collective economic income of the village, it also provides a large number of employment opportunities for nearby villagers at their doorstep. Chen Shulian, a villager from Gaolu Village, has been working in the industrial park for half a year. She told the reporter that the villagers' job is to take care of, pick and transport tomatoes, and they have work to do all year round.
